Jennifer Garner as Jenna Rink

People are weird in so many ways. Grown ups want to be younger while kids desire to be older. Due to the high technology that we now have, old people can ask help from cosmetic surgeries all over the world for them to look younger. However, there is still no cure to kids who wants to be older. I think the reason for that is because kids are really not serious when they say that they want to grow up, maybe because they just don’t understand.

Anyway, Jennifer Garner starred in a film called “13 going on 30” which I think is a good film that will enlighten all the kids about the difference about being young and having responsibilities in life.

Of course she played the role of the 30-year-old woman in the film but believe me the kid who played the young Jenna Rink looked a lot like her. Since Jennifer Garner is a natural actress that can play the role of a girl-next-door with an attitude, the role of girl trapped in a woman’s body is perfect for her.

In that film, Jennifer Garner plays the role of Jenna Rink who woke up from her 13th birthday to her life as a 30-year-old woman. Jenna is a thirteen-year-old kid from the 80’s who wakes to find out that her dream literally came true and that she’s one hot momma who works as an editor for her favorite magazine.

When she realized that it’s not a dream, she just made the most out of it and enjoyed her life as an adult. It took her less than a day to notice how people don’t like the adult Jenna and how she’s changed. She’s changed not just physically, but she’s a different woman from that 13-year-old dreamer.

The girl who backstabbed her when she was thirteen is now her best friend. Her best friend Matt is no longer her friend now. She tried to straighten things out by simply being herself and she made friends with Matt again. When she became friends again with her childhood best friend, she realized how much she liked him. And just when things are about to be fixed, everything turned out to be a nightmare for her. Her luck was really tough as he was about to be marry someone else. She has no one to blame except her selfish self. She felt that the whole world turned its back from her and felt like turning back time.

Jennifer Garner plays a magnificent role in this film and she acts really natural. She has this natural bubbly personality that touches most of the viewers that makes them so into the film while watching it.

The film is for all teenagers of yesterday and today. It transmits a good lesson mostly to the teenagers of today. This film will inspire parents to watch with their teenage daughters as it also shows message to the kids nowadays that parents does things because of certain reasons.
